Partners in Purchase Retrospective Exhibit, State of Illinois Art
Gallery, September 18, 1989-November 9, 1989. Relief sculpture, Predator
9, 16 x 28 x 4", bronze, 1982. Eighty-one pieces including
drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, sculptures, films, and videos
selected from thirty-four institutions throughout Illinois, comprise
the exhibit. The works are representative samples of purchases made
during the eleven-year duration of this outreach program. By presenting
the outstanding works the Partners in Purchase Program sponsored, this
exhibit is a significant and telling retrospective celebrating the
program's success. |
